The announcement text: Our client, a property investment * development company based in the West London * Holland Park area are looking to recruit a part-time pa*administrator as soon as possible. The role will require you to work 4 days per week at full hours, likely to be 8am-4.30pm, and
will be split between company secretarial work for all group companies (about 30), staff and paye administration and annual company accounts duties.

The office is a small, friendly unit and there is a great prospect of being financially rewarded for ability and competence in this position. The job itself requires lots of common sense and initiative. It is essential that you have strong secretarial*administration experience, sound knowledge of Word, Excel and Access, and a good knowledge of grammar and shorthand. Experience of PAYE calculations and statutory company registers are desirable but not essential.

On the company secretarial side main duties will include setting up company register books, checking annual returns, preparing minutes and agendas, typing documents, maintaining directorship lists. Duties relating to staff and PAYE matters will include contracts of employment, personnel files, records of staff pensions, staff holidays, preparing payroll & distributing payslips, dealing with end of year returns and inland revenue documentation.
